If
you love Shakespeare, improv, and spending time in a park during the
summer, come out to City Park (close to the intersection of Bagot and
Barrie Streets) where Impromptu Productions is pleased to present its
third annual summer Shakespeare production, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield. The show incorporates all of Shakespeare’s plays into one outrageously comedic masterpiece.
This family-friendly, 90 minute play is performed by three local
actors, along with audience participation. It is a show that
audience members will find hysterical, and features heavy improvisation. The show runs this Wednesday to Saturday, August 14th to 17th at 6:30pm, with a 2pm matinee on Saturday, August 17th.
Rain or shine, the show will go on. It is recommended to bring lawn
chairs and bugs spray. The show is by donation. For more information,
